I'm posting because I talk to some of you online who may have noticed I haven't been around much this week. Tuesday afternoon I went to the church tp help draw/paint some fish, whales, kelp, and other underwater stuff on our gymnasium wall at the church for next week's Bible School for the kids. Anyways, I was at the top of a 12' extension ladder that unbeknownst to me, did not have the rubber grip feet at the bottom. Well, after using the ladder in several locations, I was drawing the top portion of some kelp when the ladder started sliding out from the wall. I fell about 10 feet or so and landed with my legs tangled up in the rungs of the ladder. I'm supposed to see a podiatrist tomorrow, but as of right now, I've been told that my tendons actually pulled off a couple pieces of bone from my metacarpals in my left foot. I'm banged up in other places too. My entire left leg is scraped and bruised pretty decently. My left (drawing hand) is bruised up as well and I'm wondering if I broke a blood vessel. I literally broke a folding chair nearly in half with my face and my lip is pretty swollen and ugly along with a tooth that hurts and still feels slightly loose. Anyways, the point is that I'm banged up and the doctor doesn't want me up from the couch or bed with my foot elevated except to use the bathroom. So, even posting here is something I probably shouldn't be doing. Anyways, that's where I am. I'm sure I will be fine. I just need some time to heal up and get the doctor's ok to get things somewhat back to normal, except that I'll need crutches for a while. I hope to talk to you all soon and I'll try to check back here occassionally when I get up for "other things."

Been a little while :(
Hey everyone, it's been a little while. I've been a bit busy with work covered by NDA and I also just started developing a mini-series with Howard Wong (writer of After the cape at image/shadowline). Here are some things I've done not related the past couple of days.
Commissioned artwork for a band in the UK.

Sucks to be Atlanta
Pages 10 and 11 of This Hollow World. I think it took about 16 hours start to finish in Photoshop CS2. I'd really like to know what you guys think. This is the first "oh crap" moment of the book.

More commissions...
First off, John....OMGoodness. That colored page rocks in so many ways words can't express. I love the Garnett and Aranus too. Excellent quality work man.
Second, these are just some comissions done for various people.
be blessed, and keep creating.

Dragon colors
I colored this up this morning for some toy packaging. I'm not sure who drew it. I was trying a new technique for giving my painting a little depth in the actual strokes, like you'd see with real paint. Let me know what you think!

Art Jam: Magneto - Master of Magnetism Remix
Here is something I have been looking forward to for a long time. MAGNETO, one of the greatest villains/heroes to be created needs a new look. Magneto has basically looked the same since his creation in the 60's and it's time for a new costume. Even during the Age of Apocalypse he looked the same for the most part. Let's see what you can come up with in "re-creating" this fantastic character. Give him armor, no helmet, change his colors, whatever you want just try to stay away from his current look. Get creative on this one and give Magneto a year 2007 look. Good luck and enjoy!

Ironman suit
So this is what it's going to look like. I was pretty excited about this movie from the minute I heard they were using RD Jr. This is icing on the cake.
